He has over 25 years of experience in being involved in marine claims and in constructing robust responses on wet and dry claims such as, collision - ship handling, technical operational management, safe port, Bills of lading, Charter Party, COA, ship building, ship sale and purchase contracts and salvage.
Capt. Karkhanis is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrator – admitted in 2002.
He has been appointed as arbitrator and published awards under the LMAA and SCMA rules.
Capt. Karkhanis is an experienced arbitrator who has been appointed on the Arbitration Tribunal by leading City Law firms, LMAA and SCMA. He has published several arbitration awards and is available for appointment as an arbitrator.
